Refund policy

At Pookadai, we are committed to providing our customers with the freshest blooms and exceptional service. Because we work with delicate, perishable products like Jasmine and traditional garlands, we maintain a transparent policy to ensure the highest quality for all our clients.

1. Order Cancellation

  • Cancellation Window: You have up to 24 hours from the time of placing your order to request a cancellation. Due to the perishable nature of our fresh-cut flowers, we cannot accommodate cancellations beyond this timeframe as the flowers are often secured specifically for your order.
  • Procedure: To cancel, please email online@pookadai.com or call 416-821-9494 (Option 4). Please provide your order number and reason for cancellation.
  • Restocking Fee: A 5% restocking fee applies to all cancellations to cover merchant processing and administrative costs.

2. Refund Policy

  • Eligibility: Refunds are issued for orders cancelled within the 24-hour window or in specific cases of quality concerns (see Exceptions below).
  • Processing Time: Once approved, please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to be processed. Funds will be credited back to your original payment method.
  • Deductions: The refunded amount will be the total order value minus the 5% restocking fee and any non-refundable shipping charges.

3. Return Policy

  • No Returns Accepted: Due to the highly perishable nature of fresh flowers, strings, and garlands, we cannot accept returns once an order has left our premises or been delivered. We cannot guarantee the condition of flowers once they are out of our climate-controlled environment.

4. Important Exceptions

  • Custom & Wedding Arrangements: Orders for custom-made designs (Jai Malas, Aandal Garlands, etc.) are not eligible for cancellation or refund once production has commenced.
  • Damaged or Defective Items: We take great pride in our quality. If you receive flowers that are damaged or defective, you must notify us immediately upon receipt at 416-821-9494 (Option 4). We will work swiftly to provide a replacement or credit to ensure your satisfaction.
  • Shipping Costs: Shipping charges are non-refundable once the order has been dispatched.
